p.d. El instalador en ppc si puedo instalarlo, pero no lo voy a hacer hasta que me confirmes si es que se puede instalar en intel.....aunque en un foro en igles ví que lo compilaban para intel, pero el problema es que el configure a mi no me funciona, por falta de gcc creo, o dev tools, no sé.

jajaja era la repuesta que no queria de vuelta Xcode 2.4.1 (Disk Image) 923.2 MB, que estoy bajando los DVDs debian 3 discos de 4,5Gigas cada uno...jajaja :DD

Te va a hacer falta las developer para cualquier cosa por los compiladores
son el GCC3.3.pkg y el gcc4.0

Anteriormente había intentado esa opción, de hecho de ahí llegue a la conclusión que tenía que instalar Dev Tools o luego me señalaron que era Xcode, luego trate de seguir Instalando gretl sobre Mac OS X, descargando Fink 0.8.1 Binary Installer (Intel), pero al momento de instalarlo me aparece el este error(en la imagen):

"Fink cannot be installed on this computer.
A root directory / sw exists. Please see the Read me file for update
instructions, or for information on installing Fink on a separate volume. "

....lo mismo que sale acá.
En /sw tengo:

La verdad no se porque me salío el error

quizás otro programa creo un directorio similar, como ya comente acá tenían el mismo problema...eso como ya dije al tratar de instalar Fink-0.8.1-Intel-Installer.dmg a pesar de instalar la ultima versión de xcode bajandola desde http://connect.apple.com/ y todo lo demás y tratar de ejecutarlo también desde terminal con un:

Ahora si pude ejecutar el installer y como se ve, también desde terminal...
Ya venía editado, en el manual de fink indicaban agregar . /sw/bin/init.sh.

Y como tenía problema de espacio y este problema, instale os X instale OSX denuevo y esto:
glib-shlibs gtk+-data gtk+-shlibs libpcap-shlibs
y esto sim problemas:

pero el problema no es ese, porque yo lo quiero usar desde terminal, el problema es que al tratar de efectuar un make install al final siguiendo los pasos de esto, me salia y me sale:

quizás nmapfe es la interfaz gráfica, no lo tengo claro, y nmap desde consola tampoco funcionaba...así ke aplike un:
$ fink install nmap
y si lo instalo:

y me dio mil problemas asi que contacte con el autor del mismo a ver que demonios pasaba.
Me dijo que la version que hay en su web es un codigo fuente para ppc asi que me indico que lo mejor era con fink por que habia una version universal binaria

Asi lo hice y comprobe en fink que habia dos, pero no indica cual era la binaria y trabaje con las dos

Tras probar con ambas ninguna me funciono asi que abandone la idea,

Creo que si buscas un scaner de red ...busques otra alternativa.
Si me dices que esperas de eso, quizas te recomiende algo bueno
Si es para simples ping y tracer la misma utilidad de red ya lo hace

Ese fue el que baje, incluso lo baje(para intel), también el para ppc y me pasa algo similar, lo configure para poder ver los resultados con XNMAP y me pasa lo mismo..

OK, voy a probarlo y te diré. Y luego buscaré más y te comentaré.

Lo raro es que la gente de decía que le funcionaba bien nmap ppc en intel :S

Aqui ya me hablas de una loteria, si es ppc usa roseta, si usa roseta usa SSE3
y ademas que le guste tu micro, ya que incluso con SSE3, por ejemplo roseta en core duo en hakintos tampoco anda muy fino.

Encontre Nessus, me leí todo el manual de NMAP xD y no me funciona en mac intel :(
En su pagina(http://seclists.org/nmap-dev/2006/q1/0085.html<--parece que hay un parche), igual vi en varias partes el mismo problema en la red...
Nessus es más automatico y no es desde terminal trae dos interfaces graficas, un cliente y un servidor, en el servidor no fue necesario colocar el serial como en linux para updatear los plugins, esta para Nessus Mac OS X 10.4 (intel & ppc), ahora creo que es de codigo cerrado, pero gratuito igual. Los resultados son los mismos que nmap, pero también indica vulnerabilidades en puertos no filtrados.
