Hola! Yo tengo instalado Leopard 10.5.2 de Kalyway, y cuando quiero arrancar el Final me tira un error, dice que el Final se ha cerrado inesperadamente, y me dá la opción para forzar el reinicio, pero no funciona. Extrañamente me da el mismo error con el iMovie, parecería estar relacionado. Esto no me ocurria con Tiger 10.4.11 (refiriendome al iMovie, porque en Tiger no tenía instalado el Final por falta de una actualización). Gracia de antemano por la ayuda

Hola en la oficina tenemos iMAC y final cut 5 no corre en leopard, la a ctualizacion te la venden por separado o instalate una version posterior.

Hola, yo tambien tengo instalado el kalyway y me ocurre lo mismo con el final cut 6. La instalacion se realiza con exito pero cuando intento correr el programa aparece el mensaje de que se ha cerrrado inesperadamente. Lo raro es que al compressor le ocurre lo mismo pero el Color, el DVD Studio Pro, el Soundtrak, el motion y el Livetype corren correctamente.

Hola, tambien tengo el mismo inconveniente. Instale el Kalyway 10.5.2 y probe con el Final cuat studio, y el Final Cut Studio 2. Tambien me funcionan algunas de las aplicaciones pero aunque la instalacion se realiza sin inconvenientes al momento de abrirse el FC me indica que ocurrio un error inesperado. Tengo un mother p5kc con placa de video xfx 8600 gt de 256. Hace un par de semanas que intento con distintas versiones y modos de instalarlo pero aun no logro que funcione. Use el NvidiaInstallerV1.9_Mac_OSX_10.5.2 para instalar mi GForce. Uds tienen equipos similares?

Hola! Yo tengo una mother Intel DP35DP y una placa de video Geforce 8800 GT de 512mb, pero yo creo que no tiene que ver la placa de video, porque yo probé con 3 placas distintas y con ninguna logré solucionar el problema. Ante que esta placa tuve una ABIT AT8 32X (chipset Ati X3200) con un procesador AMD 3800 y no tenía inconvenientes. Me pasé a Core 2 Duo porque pensé que me iva a ir mejor y me topé con este problema, que no me ocurre solo con el Final, sino también con el compressor y con el iMovie, aparentemente con todo lo que tenga que ver con video. Yo pensé en cierto momento que podría ser el firewire, pero eliminé los kext del firewire, y no me solucionó el problema. Me pasé a 10.5.3 y tampoco nada (Tenía esperanzas con los nuevos drivers). Inclusive con el 10.5.3 el firewire es mejor reconocido, ya no me da error en el boot. Yo la verdad que me rendí, ya hice un montón de pruebas (con lo que me dá mi conocimiento, aclaro que no soy informático, solo soy un aficionado compulsivo de las computadoras) si por ahí alguien lo logra solucionar, por favor avisen, yo en lo particular ya no me pieso estresar con este problema. ¿Instaló Qmaster? Quizás este sea el problema pues al iniciar Final Cut busca un clúster.

Adicionalmente es importante saber que la versión de Final Cut 5.0 es para procesadores PowerPC.
Después de la actualización a Final Cut 5.1 es universal binaria por lo que es recomendable pasar por Software Update Apple antes de iniciar la aplicación.

Final Cut 6.0 si es universal binaria.

Gracias Amigo Senhez! La verdad que no sabía que la versión 5.0 era para ppc y no tengo instalado el Qmaster. Ya conseguí una actualización para pasar a 6.0. La verdad que lo que me extraña es que el iMovie que da el mismo error, quizas fue casualidad. Voy a probar con esta actualización hoy y luego comento resultados. Muchas gracias y saludos

No alcanzo a entender como no inicia Final Cut si tienes Core Image acelerado por hardware y Quartz Extreme compatible.

Cuando inicias la aplicación mostrará una pantalla de depuración ¿Puedes adjuntar los datos?
Adicionalmente también puedes comprobar errores en Aplicaciones->Utilidades->Consola

Tambien yo tengo el Core Image acelerado por hardware y Quartz Extreme compatible. Y probe con distintas versiones de Final Cut y siempre tengo el mismo inconveniente, cierre inesperado de Final Cut, al abrirlo por primera vez aunque la instalacion sehubiera realizado sin inconvenientes.
Tengo el reporte de error del Final Cut si sirve de algo puedo pegarlo aqui, pero es un cholo de texto.
En el crash reporter todos los errores estan referidos al qmasterd.
No es tan extenso como el reporte del Final Cut asi que lo pego aqui.( espero no estar metiendo la pata).
Si alguien tiene alguna idea lo agardecere eternamente. Muchas gracias.

En mi anterior mensaje escribía que si no tenemos ningún cluster para asignar tareas no hay que instalar Qmaster pues carece de sentido.

Gracias por tu respuesta, rehice la instalacion pero el final cut studio dos no me permite no instalar el qmaster. Esta inhabilitada la opcion que permitiria destildarlo d ela lista de componentes a instalar. Alguien sabe como podria desinstalarlo?

Seguidamente reinstala Final Cut 2 sin la opción Qmaster.
Los archivos en negrita solo están resaltados a título orientativo para conocer por que no inicia Final Cut desde el principio.

senhez gracias por tu ayuda. Borre los archivos, pero definitivamente no logro que el FC no instale el Qmaster. No puedo destidar esa opcion a la hora de elegir que aplicaciones seran o no instaladas.
Lleve el Qmaster.framework de la carpeta aplicaciones al escritorio, como lei en otro foro y quite el NetworkInterfaces.plist, que a otras personas le soluciono el inconveniente. Pero sigue sin funcionar. Creo que voy a probar con una ati hd 2600 pro, que es la placa que estan utilizando las iMac, a ver si logro mayor compatibilidad.

Realiza tus pruebas y comenta resultados aunque me temo que cambiando la gráfica no vas a solucionar nada.

El error que presentas es de un servicio Qmaster no presente.
Este error se da tanto en un hackintosh como en un ordenador Apple por mala configuración.
Me gustaría ver una solución favorable para ti.

Aunque es posible que una mala configuración de drivers (OpenGL) sea quien causa el error.

Amigo Senhez, perdón por la demora. Como me haz dicho que la versión 5.0 es para PPC comprobé que no tuviera esa versión y efectivamente tengo la 5.1. Te adjunto el dump del Final como me lo solicitaste. Gracias y saludos
